potassium, iron and fibre (to name but a few).
Taste:
Slightly
bitter
on the tastebuds, broccoli often requires some help to
get the children to eat it.
Uses:
Broccoli
can
be
eaten raw with dips, steamed, stir fried and made into
soups.
Substitutions:
Other
vegetables
in the brassica family can be substituted for broccoli
such as cabbage, cauliflower and brussel sprouts.
Storage:
Store
in
a plastic bag in the refridgerator. Try to use
within 5 days.
