Swiss
chard
is high in vitamins A, K and C, with one cup

Taste:
Chard
has
a taste like spinach. As the plant matures the leaves
get more bitter.
Uses:
Young
leaves
can
be chopped and eaten in salads. More mature leaves and
stalks can be boiled or stir fried.
Substitutions:
Spinach
or
kale.
Storage:
Store
in
a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Try to use
within 5 days.
